The donation, which was made on March 14, 2019, consisted of 60 bags that had food items such as bread, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese as well as fresh fruit. The aim through this donation was to help the school feed those students who were on spring break and were not getting lunches from school like they usually do.

With this effort, Kisling Nestico & Redick aims to make sure that students get to spend their spring break without having to worry about their next meal.

Kisling Nestico & Redick Donates $1,200 To Local Schoolchildren

Greenbriar Middle School has been offering free and reduced-price lunches to eligible students for a number of years. However, in the past few years, the amount of children and families who have been using these programs has been growing somewhat steadily; at this point, about half of the school’s students can take advantage of these programs. However, once Spring Break and other holidays kick in, many of these students may not have a choice but to go without food for several hours during the day, as their family may not be able to afford it. However, a local law firm called Kisling Nestico & Redick is looking to change that.

The Akron, Ohio-based company recently contacted Parma City Schools’ Director of Family and Community Engagement Kira Karabanovs about making a large food donation to a local school. However, they didn’t know where their donation would make the largest impact. Within a few seconds, Ms. Karabanovs knew where this would be and put Kisling Nestico & Redick in contact with Greenbriar Middle School Principal Jill Schissler. Between them, they were able to sort out the logistics of the donation, although Ms. Schissler didn’t realize how large the donation was going to be. Because of that, she was very pleasantly surprised when 60 bags full of essential foods, such as bread, fresh fruit, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese and more, turned up at the school. Reports suggest that Kisling Nestico & Redick spent over a thousand dollars on the donation.

However, this is only one of the most recent of the law firm donations. Over the past year, the company has been running its KNR Cares About Kids campaign, which aims to help children across Ohio reach their full potential. Because of that, the company has been engaged in a variety of different activities throughout the state. The majority of these philanthropic efforts have been focused on helping underprivileged and at-risk children get the help they need. With that in mind, Kisling Nestico & Redick has been building up quite a reputation for being a law firm that actively helps people in communities across Ohio, regardless of whether or not they’re clients.
